"Dissonance and Harmony: Arabic Music Goes West" in the PBS series "America at a Crossroads". Wow. This program is about a cultural experiment that brings together musicians from the Middle East and the Americas. Makes me feel like saying "Okay you Americans and Middle Easterners who hate each other, you go over there and throw your rocks at each other; the ones who want to collaborate, to find some common ground, we'll be over here, making music...." This is the kind of thing that gives me hope. The world need more of this.
